Copex participates
For each 9th air freight shipment, booked with us on 9 October 2015 we offset the CO2 emissions. The compensation is done by purchasing Gold Standard VER (Verified Emission Reductions) credits. A credit is an arguably avoided tons of greenhouse gas emissions. The Gold Standard criteria have been set for example by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).
The compensation is used to perform clean energy projects. This is done in association with the Climate Neutral Group and Connekt.
Do you participate?
Please contact one of our staff members and book your air cargo shipment CO2 neutral. Is your booking the 9th, 18th, 27th, 36th, 45th, 54th, 63rd, 72nd, 81st, 90th etc. on October 9th then Copex takes the costs for carbon offset for its account and you will receive a credit note for the same amount which can be used at the next air freight shipment to compensate the CO2 emissions.
